The proportion included represents the assets over which we have discretionary investment control. We will work with our LPs across our remaining assets, most of which are clean technology companies, to achieve net zero alignment.
This commitment gets 60% of the way to a reduction of GHG emissions by half in 2030.
Policy on coal and other fossil fuel investments:
Full divestment of fossil fuels since 2010. Full exclusion – all holdings. Partial exemption for legacy hydrocarbon assets of utilities rapidly expanding renewable energy.
