Nomura Asset Management

Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning over 30 countries. Nomura Asset Management joined the Net Zero Asset Managers Initiative in November 2021 and made their Initial Target Disclosure in November 2022.

Based on Nomura’s recent acquisition of Macquarie’s US and European public asset management business, the signatory’s businesses of the new “Nomura Asset Management” brand are Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd. (Nomura AM) and Nomura Asset Management International (Nomura AM I), excluding the U.S. businesses.

The U.S. businesses are as follows:
– Nomura Capital Management (NCM)
– Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management (NCRAM)
– U.S.-registered funds and U.S. client mandates (however, there is a dedicated opt-in pathway for U.S. clients and funds explicitly electing to have their portfolios managed under net zero)
