Additional information
Proportion of AUM committed:
The initial target covers equity and corporate bond funds, including fund of funds investing in equity and corporate bond funds, managed by S-Bank Plc or its affiliate. These asset classes currently have the most sufficient data and methodologies available.
Discretionary client mandates, funds investing in government bonds, as well as alternative investment funds are omitted from the initial target.
Discretionary client mandates are omitted at this stage; however, these mainly invest in our own funds that are included in the target. Other asset classes are not yet covered due to lack of both historical and current data. We will increase the coverage of the target over time and as methodologies develop further.
Policy on coal and other fossil fuel investments:
Our thermal coal policy covers all our direct equity and fixed income investments. We exclude companies that derive more than 15 percent of their revenue from thermal coal-based power generation and companies that derive more than 15 percent of their revenue from thermal coal mining.
We will tighten the exclusion criteria over time in order to support the achievement of the goals of Paris agreement and to reduce exposure to transition risks related to companies with business heavily dependent on thermal coal.
